The products in my repertoire were mainly cushions, headbands and scrunchies. I marketed myself by making a couple of things as presents for friends, and uploading images and information about the items to drum up more interest. For this I used both my own social media, and good old fashioned word of mouth from the people whom I gifted items to. This worked really well for me as it lead to a steady stream of clients ordering bespoke items. I personally saw the strange time that we faced, and continue to face, as an opportunity. I developed skills and learned a lot along the way.
