My name is Poppy, also known as ‘Du Boulay Design’. I am a fourth year BA(Hons) Performance costume student at the University of Edinburgh, and an aspiring costume designer for film and television. I am currently based in Edinburgh- one of the most inspiring and artsy cities in the world- though I may be biased!

My work is always very influenced by my perceptive eye for detail and nuance, resulting in costume designs that are filled with meaning and character. I’m also a keen research based designer, something that I find to be integral for producing ethical, informed and intricate creations.

Though I absolutely love being a costume student, I cannot wait to get out into the industry and get to work! But, in the meantime; please do have a browse at my previous and current projects.
